SPY are a graphic design agency based in London. They required a site that adhered to their own visual designs and gave them the ability to update the content themselves. Also, they wanted their portfolio to be displayed attractively using a sliding image gallery.
The site was done in Drupal 6, using the fantastic Pixel Perfect plugin to get the visuals as close as possible to SPY's drafts. The main fonts used were not web-safe so Cufon was used to render these. The navigation menu was initially animated using jQuery, but subsequently it was decided that this distracted from the other elements of the site, and the original Drupal static menu was used.
