The Fire Services Fund-raising Shop CIC required an online shopfront to run alongside their real-world shops and fundraising events. They would manage the inventory and website copy themselves. The site was built using Drupal and has the following significant features:
- Integrated ecommerce using Ubercart
- WYSIWYG editor for all user-managed content (CKEditor)
- Animated text effects on product thumbnails and other areas using jQuery
- Custom product attributes and actions (e.g. send custom email for certain products)
